Print the outline of a human figure (attached) or cut it from a picture book or magazine.
Name the body parts that can be seen on the picture with your child. Take some plasticine (or a playdough) and tell the child to make certain parts of the body that it knows how to and to place them on a piece of paper.
You can use different coloured plasticine for different parts of the body – the same colour for arms (e.g. yellow), the same colour for the legs (e.g. blue), red for the belly, white for the head. Use black for facial parts.
